The 2016 edition of the much-awaited Design Days Dubai ran until March 18. For the fifth time the event proved the ever-growing importance of the capital of the emirate in terms of design, turning the city into the global stage for innovation, with a particular focus on the eclectic design production of the region. This has been the most successful edition, thanks to a stunning selection of design items which shared two ingredients: uniqueness and originality, as they were collectible pieces specifically designed for the Fair. The event figures confirm the value of the fifth edition of Design Days Dubai:13.500 visitors, 750 design items by 185 designers from as many as 37 countries in the world.

Thanks to its spotless organization, as well as the wonderful temporary location just beside the world's tallest skyscraper, the Fair generated not only the enthusiasm of the public but also the satisfaction of the participating galleries and solo designers, as they had the chance to meet a significant number of new buyers, especially on the occasion of the preview day (a new feature of this edition) dedicated to purchasing the unique design pieces exhibited at Design Days Dubai. The event focused not just on buyers but most of all on design lovers, offering a rich program of free of charge happenings where to deepen any side of design: from one-to-one talk with designers, to seminars, talks and workshops, once again Design Days Dubai confirmed to be the place where the emirate's prestige meets culture, education and cosmopolitanism.
