A residential parallelepiped with a thin long base (5,60m x 26,00m) featuring one only continuous space that can serve many purposes thanks to its flexibility. This apartment is the result of an allotment in Italy's Marina di Ragusa, where 25 houses were created by following a unique arrangement that alternates indoor and outdoor volumes, with a double courtyard that seems crossing the house.
The interior features a massive use of sliding doors that make the space modular, creating different rooms based on the owners' needs. The wood lacquered white doors slide on hidden tracks located in the false ceiling.

The house is a all-white volume, everything is white, including the polyurethane resin flooring; furniture, design items, fabrics and paintings serve as hints of color to liven up the space. The decoration features evergreen design pieces such as Parentesi lamp by Achille Castiglioni and Pio Manzu, 1971 (Flos) and DAW armchair by Charles & Ray Eames 1950 (Vitra). Everything, included pillows and poufs, comes from Lab 2.0.
The outdoor space is the actual soul of the house, with polished concrete paths and terraces amid Tunisian rock, surrounded by the best Mediterranean flora. The space arrangement is regular yet dynamic, so that each portion can serve different purposes – just like on the inside - creating a very airy continuum between in and out.
For this project the two architects designed a flexible multitasking system, turning upside down the standard urban parameters to create a new idea of home.
