Melbourne is the new place to be for candy lovers, thanks to this shop that offers a new way to buy and enjoy sweets. Created by Colin Bell, creative director, Aaron Chen, junior designer, and Sarah Hotchin, junior graphic designer, for Red Design Group studio, this place has been designed to enhance candy colors as well as offer an innovative customer experience.

The interior features many details reminding of childhood, making customers feel at home. To emphasize the playful side of every candy shop, several pieces of furniture – such as stools, clothes hamper and even an entire kitchen – is hand drawn in black over the white walls. As a result, the interior looks like it has been decorated by kids in a funny pleasant way. Moreover, the employment of only black & white colors allow the colorful candies to be even more highlighted. Candy Room is a unique store where candies and fantasy take over, thanks to the creativity of Cristina Velardo and Leonie Schwetzer, the owners of this popular place.
