From the Seventies to today, on a smooth successful journey: this is the story of Arkof, the Italian brand that over the last 40 years has been producing not just design furniture but unique elements aimed at customizing any space, sharing an artisan quality as well as a perfect compromise between functionality and creativity. Such a unique mix makes Arkof production an ever-unexpected family that addresses national but most of all international clients, thanks to the collaboration with many different designers who share the very same, ironic and challenging, philosophy. Our Spazio TID showroom at Via Monte Pordoi 8 in Milan’s Baranzate district is pleased to exhibit as many as 8 pieces by Arkof, caught in between art and design.

Among the selected items you will find Boom, a sculptured totem container made out of sanded laminated wood with natureffekt treatment and lacquered metal details; Deck, a sideboard with artistically manufactured doors that make each piece non-reproducible; Holed, the four door single-unit holder with 8cm-diameter holes on each side; Low Flex, the short holder with wing doors and an inner shelf made out of fir and industrial rubber. Each item by Arkof has a unique recognizable appeal that brings a bold personality to any space: an ironic unconventional design that challenges eyes and mind, as these pieces of furniture can be interpreted and employed in an open, ever-changing way. Everyday life gets a new identity thanks to the creativity behind these design items, which are the result of a skilled matter processing that leads to a new dimension, amid functionality and form experimentation.
