The name of this unique product says it all: All of a Piece is one of the most modular and multifunctional design objects of the whole contemporary design field. Created by two Rotterdam-based studios, Earnest and Cannam Design, this piece also represents the merge of the work of the designers involved, as well as their personal search. Among them, Rachel Griffin, born in the US, who modernizes industrial and traditional production by designing new solutions in terms of material and modularity, and Dana Cannam, born in Canada, a product and interaction designer combining simplicity and technical innovation.

Material are the focus of All of a Piece: this design item was born to combine different materials in just one flexible product. As a result, it is made out of Carrara marble, walnut wood and Rosa Dante granite. Each material characterizes one of the many elements of All of a Piece, for a total of eleven pieces that can be put together in various combinations, to create countless solutions that suit several settings, both domestic and commercial.

You can assemble a cutting board, as well as a pen tray. Thanks to its flexibility, All of a Piece suits the most conflicting scenarios, such as a breakfast table and a conference room. In this way, it serves as dozens of items at the same time, as well as embodying an actual study in terms of material and versatility.
